Coinbase launches its crypto currency debit card in conjunction with Visa. You can freely spend your crypto and this is the first huge step into mass adoption. Once you can spend your crypto anywhere that visa is accepted then you can be paid in crypto. The only thing to come is legislation for the banks and ancillary service providers. The Dow Jones industrial average is down for the fourth third day in a row. Is this a chance to "buy the dip" or is it time to cash in the chips and call a cab? Markets are in turmoil, main street is in turmoil, a country in flames, election looming. They say it is good to live in interesting times... I am beginning to have my doubts.

These rules will allow many professionals to grow their investment portfolio in exciting ways. In addition, there may be a whole new world of opportunities for advisors as well. it looks like a win win situation. I guess only time will tell.

The President of the united states has been transported to Walter Reed Medical Center. Reports say this is a precaution and he will remain in leadership. Earlier this week the President and former Vice- President Joe Biden had an entertaining debate. The word debate can be used very loosely here. CNN has been following the developments closely. It does not seem that any information has been released about where  he may have contracted it.

We can all breathe a sigh of relief, the government will remain open. Government Shutdown narrowly averted. Apparently they couldn't decide who voters would blame for another shutdown. With the most contested election in US history only weeks away. No missteps can be allowed.  Is this great bipartisan statecraft to hash out a deal or just fear of voter retribution? Republicans and democrats have stepped away from the edge... but for how long.

What Kind of average are we talking about Mr. powell

We live in the topsy turvy world of negative interest rates and money printing to infinity. And in this world it seems not even simple math can be relied upon. I went to business school. I took calculus. I know stuff.

So Mr. Powell I am curious if you can give me a bit more clarity on exactly what kind of average inflation we are targeting. Inquiring minds would like to know. Some educated minds are not sure that the tool will work.
